I could get used to this, and the beauty of it all is that I can do it for the whole of next week. Cool.

Kitties went to the vet Wednesday morning. Dart had to be sedated in order to be examined (surprised--he's a big cat now, thanks to his Maine Coon blood), but considering that he's only been to the vet twice before, that's not bad. Sometimes it's hard to remember how young he is. He's not even a year and a half old at this point. Sam and Willow, I should add, were pretty much the little angels they usually are. Our vet clinic loves 'em. We also splurged and got everyone's claws trimmed. I do my best to keep up with it, but sometimes there's something to be said for paying someone else to wrestle with the fuzzbutts.

I made two loaves of whole wheat bread last night to give to Phaed's mom. They turned out rather well; one of them didn't rise quite as high as the other, but they both came out okay, so what the heck. I doubt she'll care; she's very gracious about accepting gifts as a rule, and she likes my bread.

Wow. Okay, I think my brain has now booted up enough for me to take care of some household chores that need to be done this morning.
